Pretty sure this is a real thing now, it’s completely the wrong timing for a prank from a company. The official site is on the domain for sammy so yeah. It’s a thing. A thing that you won’t be able to get outside of Japan even if you try though.
LIVE in SLOT, as the name may imply, is a slot machine game, which I believe will be in pachinko parlors. It is a gambling game and will likely require some form of real money. There appears to be some sort of stage system, and you are able to dress up the girls and see special cut scenes in the like when you do certain things. On the 13th (JST), the official site mentions something about Nico Nico Live, so we may see some of it then?
But yes, LIVE in SLOT, is a thing.

Seems to use iMAS1 models… I’m slightly confused myself so I can’t say I can really give you a proper explanation.
NOTE: I get this feeling it’s an elaborate and well-done Japanese fake thing, but it’s… very well done if that’s the case….
